Writer’s Building, Kolkata
A set of 50 plans of the different blocks, buildings, corner of Writer’s buildings, Calcutta of which 15 are printed on paper and 35 are printed on textile were received from Writer’s Buildings, Kolkata for conservation purpose. Some of the parts of the plans were drawn in different coloured inks.
Alliance Francaise Du Bengale
A set of 10 paintings of different renowned artists were restored by INTACH Conservation Institute, Kolkata.
Indian Museum, Kolkata
Two restorers of INTACH Conservation Institute, Kolkata were deputed to Indian Museum, Kolkata for restoring the objects of their Anthropological Gallery from January 2016.
Ethnograpical Museum, Cultural Research Institute, Kankurgachi, Kolkata
A set of 46 objects including objects of personal care and defensive implements of Ethnographical Museum, Cultural Research Institute, Kankurgachi, Kolkata were restored by the restorers of INTACH Conservation Institute, Kolkata from April 2016 to May 2016.

Governor House, Raj Bhavan, Kolkata
The Royal Arms of Queen Victoria depicted in the photograph has been partly resurrected for display from the various pieces unearthed from the grounds of the Raj Bhavan and put together like pieces in a jigsaw puzzle by INTACH. The work was undertaken after considerable research on the subject including contacting the original manufacturers, Macfarlane and Company, Glasgow whose archives are maintained at University of Glasgow after the company closed down many years ago.

St. Andrew’s Church, Kolkata
A set of 11 burial registers containing about 4,000 burial records at the Scottish cemetery dating back to the 1840s came to the INTACH laboratory for restoration. One of these registers, shown in the photographs, dated from 1865. The size of the register was 33.5 cm X 20.5 cm and it had 89 folios.
Alliance Francaise du Bengale, Kolkata
A set of 5 paintings of a group of renowned artists named Chandra Bhattacharya, Prabhakar Kolte, Suhas Roy, Jogen Chowdhury, Prakash Karmakar came from French Institute Alliance Francaise du Bengale has been restored by INTACH Conservation Institute, Kolkata. Among 5 paintings, one is paper painting entitled “VILLAGE SCAPE” and is painted by Jogen Chowdhury and one is acrylic on canvas entitled “ CONFLUENCE” painted by Prakash Karmakar.
Netaji Museum, Netaji Research Bureau, Kolkata
Two oil paintings of Netaji Museum, one is half bust portrait and another is a full portrait of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose were restored in the centre laboratory.

Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Institute of Asian Studies
Accessioning and Condition Assessment of Art objects like textiles, wooden furniture, ceramic objects, glass objects , metal objects, books and manuscripts of Maulana Azad Museum, Kolkata, a part of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Institute of Asian Studies were completed.
Netaji Museum, Netaji Research Bureau, Kolkata
A Paper Conservation Laboratory was set up by INTACH Art Conservation Centre, Kolkata, inside the premises of Netaji Museum, Kolkata last. A Paper Conservation Project (1st Phase) continued from September, 2012 to February, 2013 in that laboratory. Letters and personal diaries of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and other members of his family and other important official and personal documents relating to Netaji and his family members, friends, and different personalities involved in the Indian Freedom Movement were restored here.Besides this, 6 of oil paintings were also restored in INTACH’s Art Conservation Centre.
Acharya Bhavan, Kolkata
The residential house of Sir J.C.Bose, the father of Modern Physics, is going to be converted into Science Heritage Museum and INTACH Calcutta Regional Chapter has undertaken this work. The conservation work of the objects relating to Sir J.C.Bose and his family members has been taken up by INTACH Art Conservation Centre, Kolkata. 21 Paintings including 4 oil Paintings, 16 paper paintings, 2 cloth paintings, 3 manuscripts, 2 photographs have been already restored. Different types of paintings and books, most of which were gifted by renowned personalities of those era like Abanindranath Tagore, Gaganendranath Tagore, Nicolas Roerich, George Bernard Shaw, Romain Rolland were restored by INTACH Conservation Institute, Kolkata. 11 volume set of plays of Bernard Shaw, gifted by him to Sir J.C.Bose also restored.
A poem inside a painting, painted and written by Sri Rabindranath Tagore and gifted by him in the wedding ceremony of Sri D.N.Bose , the nephew of Sir J.C.Bose and Smt. Nalini Bose, daughter of Dr. Nilratan Sarkar.A beautiful paper painting entitled “NATIR PUJA” painted by famous painter Sri Nandalal Bose has been restored by us.
St. John’s Church Art Collection
Nine of oil paintings, 3 of litho prints, 2 of paper paintings, 22 of black & white photographs of The St. John’s Church were restored in between August 2012 to April 2013.

An oil on canvas, a print on canvas, 5 of litho print and 7 of black & white photographs were restored in between August 2012 to November 2012.

Royal Calcutta Turf Club, Kolkata
Four oil paintings (3 portraits and 1 Landscape), 19 B&W Photographs and 2 litho-prints were restored by INTACH Art Conservation Centre, Kolkata in August- 2011. One of those portraits was painted by Harold Speed and other two were the portraits of Sir William Macpherson by Henry Tanworth Wells and W.M. Beresford (artist unknown). Harold Speed and Henry Tanworth Wells, R.A. were artists of repute in Britain in the late 19th century / early 20th century.
The Saturday Club Pvt. Ltd.
Three letters and twenty insignias and medals / flags (Metal & Textile) were restored in Centre Laboratory in November-2011.These insignias and medals /flags of German and Italian Army were captured by the British / Indian army during World War-II.
Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Kolkata
An Oil painting (Portrait of Sir Ashley Eden, Lieutenant Governor of Bengal, 1877-1882) and 35 photographs of the former President of Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industry, were restored in Centre Laboratory in February- April, 2012.
St. John’s Church, Kolkata< /strong>
Two oil paintings and one B&W photograph were restored in the centre laboratory in March-2012.
YEAR: 2010-2011
Conservation of Oil Painting at St. John’s Church, Kolkata
In collaboration with the Max Mueller Bhavan, Kolkata, INTACH Art Conservation Centre, Kolkata restored the replica of the masterpiece titled “The Last Supper”, recreated by famous German Painter ‘Johann Zoffany’ who is one of the founding artists of the British School of the 18th Century, at St. John’s Church, the first British Built Anglican Church in Kolkata. The painting is 10 ft X 12 ft was done in 1787, the signature and the thumb impression along with the date is present at the right lower portion of the painting. The painting was gifted by the painter to the church at the time of its consecration in 1787.
The conservation team was headed by Ms. Renate Kant, a German Art Restorer based in Singapore. The work was started at the first week of February 2010 and was unveiled on 4th July 2010. Conservators Mr. Subash Baral, Mrs. Mousumi Bhattacharya, Ms. Antara Basak, Ms. Papia Saha and Mr. Arindam Debnath from INTACH Art Conservation Centre Kolkata were members of the conservation team.
Documentation work at residence of Sir Jagadish Chandra Bose
A Project for the Inventorisation, Documentation and Condition assessment of the objects like oil painting, fresco paintings, photographs, books, journals, textiles, stone sculptures, wooden objects, scientific equipments, slides, etc. at Acharya Bhavan, residence of Sir Jagadish Chandra Bose, 93 A.P.C. Road, Kolkata- 700 009 , proposed to be converted into a Science Heritage Museum by the Sir J. C. Bose Trust was completed by the Kolkata Centre.
